On this 2-hour electric bike tour, you will cruise through Poipu and Koloa on state-of-the-art pedal-assist electric bikes and learn a lot about this area, history and folklore. While you still have to pedal, these e-bikes have a small electric motor that gives you a boost up hills and throughout the ride, making for a fun and active experience.
Before starting the tour, we will adjust your bike, fit you with a helmet, offer a safety briefing and short practice ride. Then, we will be on our way! Powered by top-of-the-line and easy to ride, Specialized Como Turbo E-Bikes. It’s just like biking, but EASIER! Enjoy the smooth pedal assist that can amplify up to 4 times your pedal power.

Tour Route & Highlights

Our tour traverses about 14-15 miles through the beautiful Poipu and Koloa area, making 5-6 stops along the way, providing history, local legends and fun facts, as well as scenic views and epic photo ops.

Tour stops include: Shipwrecks Beach, Koloa Sugar Plantation, a local fruit stand, Prince Kuhio’s Birthplace, a famous path and Kauai Bike Trail, and much more!

Special seasonal highlights include: endless rainbows, giant waves, endangered monk seals, humpback whales and Honu’s (green sea turtles).

We will stop for water refills and bathroom breaks along the route.

Meeting Point: After booking, you will receive an email confirmation with meeting address and info.

Closed-toed shoes with good traction are required (no flip flops or water shoes).

Fitted helmets are provided and must be worn for the duration of the tour.

Waterproof bike bags are provided for your stuffs.

Wear sunglasses or protective eyewear.

Bring along sunscreen, small water bottle (we will stop for water refills along the way) and don’t forget your ALOHA attitude!

A great way to start the day: 7:30 am tour start time with 715am check-in.

Tour is 2 hours approximately.

Minimum age: 15

Maximum age: 75, unless you are an experienced rider and are relatively active (ask us if in doubt).

Riders must know how to ride a bike.

Must be at least 5-ft tall and not weigh more than 300 lbs.

Not wheelchair accessible.

Not recommended for people with back problems or other serious medical conditions.

Not recommended for pregnant women.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.

This tour requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you will be offered a different date or a full refund. Light rain can be enjoyable, as it’s a cooler temperature for biking, and there’s almost always a beautiful rainbow to see!
